Policy & Terms

These policies and terms apply to all activities at Melbourne Cable Park.

Aqua Fun Park

  • We supply lifejackets
  • We recommend that you also wear a rash vest for sun protection
  • Minimum age 5 years old
  • Kids aged between 5-9yrs old, need one adult per four kids of that age to go on with them
  • 10 year olds+ may go on alone

Cable Wakeboarding

  • We provide beginner board, lifejacket and helmet for cable wakeboarding.
  • Wetsuits & booted boards are available for hire.
  • Minimum age for public session is 10 years old. If attending kids clinic, minimum age is 8 years old

Climb Melbourne

  • Please wear flat, closed-toe shoes. No thongs or crocs.
  • We recommend comfortable clothing – shorts /long pants
  • The Climb Tower is suitable for Children 5 yrs (kids course) and above.
    The following height restrictions apply:

    • Kids course 100cm – 140cm
    • Urban High Ropes 125cm-140cm requires paying accompanying adult (18yrs+)
    • 140cm+ can climb alone

Weather
We aim to have the park open 362+ days a year. We will only restrict our activities or close the park if the weather makes it dangerous to operate, for example: in very high winds or electrical storms.

Smoking
Melbourne Cable Park is a no-smoking venue. No smoking is permitted anywhere on our premises.

Alcohol
Melbourne Cable Park is a fully licensed venue.  Alcohol can be purchased from the bar are during nominated opening hours.  BYO alcohol is NOT permitted to be brought into the Park or anywhere on our premises.

Dogs
No dogs, except registered service dogs, are allowed on our premises.  Most of our grassed areas have guests and children running around barefooted and sitting on grassed areas.  Please speak to staff if you wish to bring a registered service dog to the Park (03 8780 7777)

Clothing
Please make sure you dress appropriately for your activity and weather conditions on the day. We recommend all participants and guests to apply plenty of sunscreen, wear a hat and appropriate clothing for hot, sunny days.

Refunds
We operate a strict no-refund policy.
We do not issue refunds for, changing your mind, failing to turn up or late arrival for booked sessions.
If we are unable to operate for any reason we will be happy to re-book reserved tickets for a later date.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions
Melbourne Cable Park Gift Cards (Gift Cards) entitle the holder to goods/services equal to the value of the Gift Card or any amount remaining after partial redemption.
The value shown on a Gift Card includes GST.
Gift Cards are only redeemable in person at the Melbourne Cable Park or via our online ticketing system melbournecablepark.com/booknow
Gift Cards are redeemable for purchasing tickets for activities offered at the Melbourne Cable Park or food and beverages from the Café located at the Park (cafe purchases only in person).
Gift Cards may not be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.
Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and cannot be redeemed for cash.
If the Gift Card holder’s purchase exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the Gift Card holder will be required to pay for the difference in price between the value of the Gift Card and the retail price of the purchase.
All Gift Cards sold at Melbourne Cable Park are valid for a period of three years.  Requests for extension to expiry dates can be made via email.  We will email you back to confirm the extension of an expired Gift Card with details of your new expiry date.
In the event that the Melbourne Cable Park suspect any fraud relating to a Gift Card, Melbourne Cable Park may refuse to redeem the Gift Card until Melbourne Cable Park is satisfied that no fraud has occurred.
Melbourne Cable Park is not liable for any lost/stolen Gift Cards. Please contact Melbourne Cable Park immediately (info@melbournecablepark.com or 03 8780 7777) if your Gift Card has been lost/stolen. Lost/stolen Gift Cards can only be replaced if satisfactory proof of purchase is provided and the Gift Card has not been redeemed.
